Instructions
Let
My People Go is most enjoyed by children 5 to 10. Players draw cards,
follow the fun rhymes and move their playing pieces around the board.
Cards also feature numbers so that children who cannot read can still
enjoy the game. Children, however, really enjoy having their parents
read the rhymes on the cards out loud. The rhymes are fun and simple
to learn. Your children will enjoy learning the rhymes.
Object
of the Game:
Be the first to move your playing piece to space 100.
Setup:
-
Each player selects a playing piece and places it next to square
number one.
-
Shuffle the cards and place the deck facedown on the game board
in the card space provided.
-
Some cards will move you forward and some will move you back.
-
Youngest player goes first.
-
Draw a card from the top of the deck and do what the card says.
-
After you have moved your playing piece as directed, place your
card face up in the discard pile next to the card deck. When you
get to the end of the deck, reshuffle the discard pile and continue
as before.
-
Play continues clockwise.
-
If you land on any of the orange spaces, beware – the taskmasters
are chasing you! Draw another card to escape.
Winning
the Game:
The first player to land on the last space numbered 100 by exact count
is the winner. If the card you draw does not place you exactly on
space 100, wait till your next turn and try again. You must land by
exact count to win!
